Martial Square serves as a primary command area and staging ground in both the human settlements of Gulthurub and Lusvunub. In Lusvunub, it is described as a "vast graveled square" that, during preparations for war, is "full of preparations," with weaponmasters overseeing the distribution of reclaimed arms. In Gulthurub, the square is dominated by the "Pedestal of Heroes," a raised metal dais used for proclaiming Warlords and public ceremonies. Segena, the Remnant leader, observed that the square's construction was barely "serviceable," noting that the People "really needed to learn basic construction and maintenance" to improve the area's functionality.
