The Remnant are the savage, brutalized descendants of the human survivors of the Sundering who scrape out an existence on the devastated surface of Earth. Viewing elves as the "devil tricksters" who destroyed their world, these "dirty humans with guns and machetes" dwell in heavily fortified outposts and harbor a deep, violent hatred for elvenkind.
