Presenub is a newly constructed Remnant outpost "tucked southward of the [Golden Gate] bridge, into what used to be known as the Presidio." Unlike the typically decrepit and dirty Remnant cities, Presenub is noted by the elves as being surprisingly "clean" and looking distinctly "new," built as "a small city, underneath the leaves." At its center sits a central command building, "a white adobe structure that had apparently been built long before the Sundering, by a nation of people that no longer existed." It is described as being "in remarkably good condition for such an old thing, with white walls and a red angled roof that was almost completely intact," featuring a bare wooden floor and unlit windows along all the walls.
The outpost serves as a hidden staging ground for the Remnant’s planned pincer attack on the elven village of Sylrantheas, and is where Myriani and Melenora are briefly held captive in "a little shack with trees all around it." The location eventually becomes a war zone when the elves launch a preemptive strike, turning the outpost and its surrounding greenery into a "smoking ruin of broken trees and plowed up earth."
