Louisberg is the English name for the heavily armed Remnant stronghold of Lusvunub, built in the ruins of the former state of Kentucky. To the sophisticated elves and topsiders, "Louisberg was populated by a special kind of Remnant. They called the city Lusvunub, and they were almost civilized—very civilized, really, if you took their distilleries into consideration. They were also whizzes with mechanical things—their tanks and tricked-out trucks were a wonder to behold".
The city is most famous for its prized export. "And although they’d probably shoot you if you arrived in the city unexpectedly, they would at least maybe ask you if you had anything interesting to trade. So he [[[Orym]]] and Quynn had brokered an uneasy peace with the Louisberg Remnant a long time ago, trading as much tech as they could get their hands on for the only thing the dirty humans had to offer: bourbon". This Louisberg bourbon became highly sought after, with Orym eventually importing it to Valaralda for four times its original price.
