Chemroom
The Chemroom is a highly secretive, illegal drug chamber located deep within The Den, an elite vice district hidden in the Under of the floating sky city of New San Francisco (Newfris). Functioning as a high-end narcotic and transmutation parlor, it caters exclusively to wealthy topsiders, politicians from the Parliament, and Planners (the Cothellon), providing them with illicit substances far away from the strict regulations of the city above.
Geography and Environment
Access to the chemroom is heavily restricted and hidden from the public eye. Patrons must first enter the bustling cardroom on the topmost level of the Den. From there, a small hatchway and a ladder hidden just past the bar provide the primary access point down into the darker, more visceral sections of the facility, which include the chemroom, the whiproom, and the huntroom.
Like the rest of the Den, the chemroom is ostensibly managed by a proxy named Droth, though it is truly operated by the mysterious figure known as Den Boss (who is secretly the ancient elven mindmaster, Quynn, operating under the human alias Eric). Security for the facility is provided by Queen and her elite underkid assassin squad, the killgirls (part of Her Majesty's Navy), who ensure that the wealthy patrons can indulge their vices in absolute secrecy.
