Standing for the "Tea Club and Barrovian Society," the T.C.B.S. was originally a student society founded by John Ronald at King Edward’s School. After learning of the elves' existence and the impending Sundering, John secretly re-founded the group to include only the brightest human minds, dedicating them to preserving humanity's knowledge and eventually fighting magic.
