Meriel

Meriel is the pragmatic proprietor of the tavern in Sylrantheas who eventually rises to become the village's Council Leader. A bladedancer by alignment, she primarily uses her magic for "cooking and brewing" her signature nutty and malty beer. She is often seen behind her bar with "one eyebrow only slightly raised," delivering drinks with a sharp wit or a knowing wink. Though she maintains a blunt, no-nonsense demeanor, she is regarded as a "good person" who eventually finds peace and happiness "holding hands" with Kharis.
