The Control Center is a highly secure, ancient facility built by Akhenaten (Orym) to activate the Pyramid Offensive System. Accessing it requires navigating a shifting, multi-destination gate hidden behind a tapestry in his Nekhrumetian palace, which teleports the user to a series of "sandstone platforms" suspended high in the desert sky. Navigating these platforms requires passing through a specific sequence of gates, or else facing oblivion.
The Control Center itself is located on the final aerial platform, housed within "a building... golden dome atop sandstone bricks". Entering through a doorless archway, the interior reveals a small, curved room taking the shape of the dome above it, where shadowy illusions flicker in the walls to unnerve intruders. In the center of the room sits "a pedestal. On that pedestal was a simple sphere, and on that sphere was a little red button" that triggers the massive pyramids across all three Seed Planets to activate their destructive energy.
