Saka
The saka is a species of extremely venomous snake found on the jungle planet of Eryn.
Biology and Appearance
Saka snakes are notable for their natural bioluminescence, which causes their bodies to glow in the dark. They are aquatic or semi-aquatic creatures, known to inhabit the subterranean streams and rivers running deep inside the ancient cave ruins located near the ellr city of Aldaron.
Ecology and Behavior
As predators of the dark underground waters, saka snakes primarily hunt smaller prey, sustaining themselves on a diet of rodents and salamanders. However, despite their preference for smaller game, their venom is exceptionally potent; a single bite from a saka snake is deadly enough to easily kill an ellr.
