Lhoris

Lhoris is the Destroyer Mentor of Sylrantheas and the brother of the archery teacher, Kharis. He is described as a formidable warrior who is "bigger and broader-chested" than his brother, favoring their father's side of the family. A master with a seven-foot longbow, he is capable of firing hundreds of arrows an hour without breaking a sweat. Despite his physical power, his life ends in violence during the Cothellon attack on the village, where Rylan eventually finds his body, which had been "shot twice, then badly beaten". He is remembered during the final ceremonies as one of the dedicated Mentors who sacrificed everything for the survival of the elven people.
