Gearhead Two is a secret "backup gearhead facility under the Outer Heights near the western Edge". The primary living quarters are described as a "small, square, cement room" that is notably "cold" and "not nearly as nice as Gearhead One". Inside, it features "a single fluorescent bulb [that] glowed fitfully in the ceiling" and a simple "table... made of metal with two chairs".
The location is significant because it served as the final refuge for the gearheads after Queen ordered their execution, and even she did "not know about that one". It eventually became the site of a horrific massacre when the killgirls, led by a mind-controlled Beam, successfully tracked them down. Following the attack, the "dim, dirty hallway" was described as having an "overpowering" smell of "the acrid stench of blood, the sourness of vomit and viscera" and the "sweet, sickly smell of urine," with the bodies of the gearheads "arrayed together on the floor".
