Falganr is the seat of Akhenaten's ancient empire on the sweltering jungle planet of Eryn. While physical descriptions of the city's streets or buildings are not detailed in the text, it is historically significant as one of the three great anchor points for Akhenaten’s (Orym's) massive magical device. During his immortal reign tens of thousands of years ago, Akhenaten expanded his reach across the three primary Seed Planets, establishing his empire in "Egypt and Nekhrumet and Falganr on Eryn".
The city served a dark and apocalyptic purpose for its ruler. Seeking enough magical power to permanently sever the Twins' connection to Guruthos, Akhenaten expanded his Pyramid Offensive System to Eryn, building massive pyramids there just as he had on Earth and Valaralda. Falganr was the epicenter of this effort on Eryn, where he "fed souls to each of these pyramids, too, their great insides filling to the brim with death". Ultimately, when his empire spanned these three worlds and he had gathered "countless tens of thousands of souls ready to power his arcane machine," he used locations like Falganr to attempt to activate the system and destroy the gods.
