The Faedori Forest is a large woodland region on Valaralda located north of Ilyrion, extending past the town of Errenmel. It is the forest where Trey (Tarathiel) grew up, and its dense trees serve to hide the sprawling, highly secure headquarters of the Department of Magical Research, situated in the forest's northeastern stretch.
When the Twins awaken and begin their rampage across Ilyrion, a thick line of refugees flees north into the Faedori Forest seeking shelter. However, the forest is later targeted by Orym after he accesses the immense power of Xyclami. Wielding corrupted magic, he completely obliterates the area, turning it into a "wasteland" and raising a new volcano from the bedrock where the woods once stood.
