Alaka
The alaka is a species of fish native to the Kaja Ocean on the jungle planet of Eryn.
Ecology and Diet
While little is known about the living biology or appearance of the alaka in the wild, it serves as a staple food source for the coastal Eldrim settlement of Ylfethas. Because the Eldrim of Ylfethas intentionally reject advanced technology and prefer to live a simple, traditional lifestyle off the land, they rely heavily on fishing the local waters.
The fish is commonly prepared grilled and is typically served alongside roasted potatoes and leek-like vegetables.
